Granules are generally larger in diameter than powder, and unlike tablets which are formed under high pressure, it contains a lot of air between the powder particles. Therefore it is very easy to collapse and is high in absorbability. Also, there is a merit that the amount of ingredients taken in one time can be larger than that of tablets. It can be flavored and scented for easier taking.
Production Process of Granules
The materials are weighed as prescribed. They are sifted to ensure no foreign objects are contained and to make the size of the powder consistent. After that, a mixer is used to mix the material uniformly.
This is a process to bond the powdered material together to make granules. The granules are made, after the qualities and the amount of the materials are taken into consideration to decide the most appropriate pelleting machine.
